I sent in my aspiration statement and resume about five minuets ago. It actually took me a lot longer to put together than I thought it would. It was a good chance to sit down and think about what I really what to get out of Peace Corps which I haven't gotten to think about very much since I got my invitation. I've been so busy visiting friends and family!
It's weird that I already have been saying good bye to people and making plans for last visits even though I only received my packet five days ago. Some other recently invited PCVs I've talked to have agreed that after waiting for so long to be invited (almost an entire year for me), we never thought we would actually be leaving the country for 2+ years. It seems like the time to leave is coming so quickly.
Now to tackle the rest of the paperwork.
